Have you ever noticed that some days you are just happy, things go well and everything falls into place. On days like that you find solutions to all your problems, you overcome every obstacle, and whatever you try to accomplish is a success. Then there are other days when the opposite is true, when everything you attempt to do fails from the start.
I know, because it happens to me too. But I’ve also noticed that a lot has to do with my attitude. One shift in the way I look at my surroundings can completely change my outlook, and how effective I am in work. Sometimes by simply changing my attitude, the outcome is as different as night and day.
So much also has to do with attitude and with perspective. It’s your attitude that determines whether you perceive something to be a challenge or an impossibility, a learning opportunity or a failure, if the glass is half empty or half full. Your attitude determines your altitude. The situation itself isn’t as important as how you look at it, how you see it. Just by shifting your focus from negative to positive, you can start to find solutions that you could not see before, you can see possibilities and answers where all you saw before was impossible questions. If you have to, make some adjustments to your attitude, and make today one of those great and happy days and start soaring.
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult. – Seneca.
