Superman does have a lot of powers, but so do you. Superman isn’t real, but you are. What kind of powers do you have, you may wonder? I think the biggest power we all have is the power to lift and encourage another human being, and in so doing, help her or him reach for their potential and make their contribution to the world.
In order to help and encourage someone, you first have to believe in them. You have to value them, have faith in them, and then find some way to tell them or show them.
Your words and thoughts have amazing powers, for good or for bad, to inspire or discourage, to build or destroy, to heal or to kill. Choose your words and thoughts with care. Depending on what you think and say, you can either be in the construction business or the demolition process, you can help or hinder, build or tear down, spread doubt or add value, bless or curse.
Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something special in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only the best, be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. – Norman Vincent Peale
